Qubic Announces Sale of Cryogenic Amplifiers to Quantum Machines

# Qubic’s Cryogenic Amplifiers Score First Major Customer Win

Qubic has landed its inaugural commercial contract, supplying low-noise cryogenic amplifiers to Quantum Machines for quantum computing systems. The partnership will evaluate how Qubic’s KI-TWPA amplifiers—devices that boost microwave signals with minimal distortion—can enhance quantum computer control and readout capabilities.

The amplifiers address a critical scaling challenge: excessive heat generation in quantum systems. Qubic’s design dramatically reduces heat dissipation at cryogenic temperatures (4 Kelvin), cutting cooling demands and enabling larger qubit counts. Meanwhile, the company is partnering with Israel’s Quantum Computing Center to validate performance in real-world quantum environments.

Qubic commits to delivering three amplifier versions by year’s end, each building on the last, with heat dissipation under 0.1 milliwatts. This collaboration underscores the industry’s shift toward tightly integrated quantum-classical systems where component-level innovations directly impact overall performance.
