OQC, JPMorganChase and AMD Commence Research Collaboration to Develop New Quantum-AI Platform in London

# Quantum-AI Platform Launches in London

Three tech titans—Oxford Quantum Computing (OQC), JPMorganChase, and AMD—are joining forces to build a dedicated research hub in London that merges quantum computing with artificial intelligence and traditional computing power. The facility will house OQC’s GENESIS quantum system alongside AMD-powered AI and classical computing infrastructure, creating a secure enterprise environment designed for real-world financial applications rather than isolated lab experiments.

JPMorganChase will be the platform’s primary user, leveraging it to explore hybrid quantum-classical workflows—systems that blend quantum processing with conventional computing. Research priorities include portfolio optimization, quantum machine learning, and AI-driven improvements to quantum circuit design. The partners also aim to develop specialized financial algorithms that harness these combined technologies.

Operational within 12 months, the platform represents a significant shift toward practical quantum-AI integration in enterprise settings, particularly for the financial services sector.
